BREACH RESPONSE ACTION PLAN
In breach of CQC regulations? Get a clear plan, fast.
For dental practices, GP practices and care services that have received a Requirement Notice or warning notice. I’ll review your CQC documents, meet your team, and give you a written SMART action plan, for a fixed fee of £750.
From a former CQC inspector with over 12 years’ inspection experience.

THE PROBLEM
A breach or Requirement Notice needs a clear response
CQC has told you that you’re not meeting one or more regulations. Now you need to work out exactly what that means, what to fix first, and how to show the changes are real.
✓ The letters can be hard to interpret. It’s not always clear what CQC expects you to change.
✓ Everything feels urgent. Without priorities, teams try to fix everything at once.
✓ You’re still running the practice. Patients and people using your service still need you every day.
✓ Paperwork alone won’t fix a breach. CQC wants to see genuine, sustained improvement.
HOW IT WORKS
Three simple steps
1. Send your documents
After booking, send me your inspection report and CQC letters so I can review them in advance.
2. We meet
One meeting, remote or on site, to go through the findings and agree priorities.
3. Your plan & follow-up
You receive your written SMART action plan and advice, followed by one follow-up call.
About one day of focused, expert work on your breach.

I know what CQC looks for, because I used to be the inspector
I spent over 12 years as a CQC inspector. I know how breaches are identified, what the letters really mean, and what CQC wants to see next.
I’ve also managed a dental practice, so I understand the day-to-day pressures of running one, and I’ll keep your plan practical and proportionate.
My approach is honest, practical and collaborative, focused on genuine improvement, not box-ticking.

I'll deliver a written SMART action plan with owners and deadlines, built around your breaches and agreed with you in our meeting. You stay responsible for putting it into practice and for how you respond to CQC.
Either. We can meet by video call or I can come to your practice or service, whichever works best for you.
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee a CQC outcome, as decisions are CQC's alone. What I can give you is an honest, experienced view of what needs to change and a clear plan to get there.
