What Does The CQC Look For In A Registered Manager?
When assessing a Registered Manager, the CQC is looking for much more than qualifications and previous job titles. A Registered Manager must be able to demonstrate that they have the knowledge, experience, leadership skills and competence required to manage a regulated service safely and effectively. Under Regulation 7, the CQC considers whether a Registered Manager is of good character and has the necessary qualifications, competence, skills and experience.
